Let women serve in combat, free of harassment by men

Yesterday came the news that the second of two female Marines to sign up for the current Infantry Officers Course  dropped out. The first one didn’t pass the introductory test that precedes the 13-week course.

The other volunteer, also a second lieutenant, dropped out Sept. 28 after she was unable to complete the program’s introductory combat endurance test. Nearly 30 men also washed out on the first day.

Known as the Infantry Officers Course, the demanding 13-week program is based at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va. The current class, which began with 109 students, is the first to have included women. On average, about 25 percent of the men who enroll in IOC fail to complete it and voluntarily withdraw.

The statement from the woman who dropped out yesterday is:

“I want to try to open up a door, maybe, for women after me. I don’t know how far it will open, but I’m hoping to make a difference for women down the road.”

The Sikh Anti-Feminist camp applauds her and the other three volunteers so far for trying.

However, what door is she taking about? Notice that in this case, there’s no door closed to women that she’s trying to open. The door is wide open and she got a perfectly fair shot at the course. She just didn’t have what it takes to actually pass through the open door.

Language is the most potent weapon feminists have in their arsenal. Now, it’s not clear the woman Marine talking about opening up a door is a feminist, but the language she’s using is not entirely honest.

Thus far, the failure rate for female volunteers in this particular training course is 100% (4 out of 4). It’s possible that eventually one female will pass the course, especially if the standards are relaxed for passing the course. Feminists will declare a victory and tout that as proof women are just as capable as men in yet another domain, notwithstanding the fact that one woman passing the course only means there is (finally) one female volunteer who’s as capable as 75% of the male volunteers. That’ll be in line with the typical feminist pronouncements, and equally typical in dishonesty.

There has been a lot of debate about allowing women into the combat roles in the military. There are numerous factors being debated: physical strength and endurance, personal privacy, sexual harassment, conflict between the protective instinct of men and the mission of the military unit in combat, women soldiers as prisoners of war, etc.

The Sikh Anti-Feminist answer to the question is simple and egalitarian.

Let women serve in combat in all roles, from entry level up. Select the best candidates among women volunteers and create all-female infantry battalions. Give them the best training, preferably feminist-approved. Send them into combat. Let them do the best fighting they are capable of doing. At no point from recruitment to combat duty let there be any males in the unit, so that feminists cannot blame the men for “microagressions” or sexual harassment for any problems or failures at personal or unit levels. Provide female commanders at all levels upto, atleast, Colonel (feminists will always blame the nearest male they can find, so male frontline officers will not do).

Of course, feminists will never cease to blame men and “patriarchy” for every single problem any woman will ever face (nothing is ever a woman’s fault for a feminist, with one exception: when a woman says or does something feminists do not like). But the all-female combat units will atleast have a non-hostile work environment for women and the non-feminist public can then make up their minds about having women in combat roles in the infantry.

Meanwhile, stop giving special treatment to women working in the military. Stop giving easy honorable discharges to women who get pregnant while in the services (postpone remaining part of service contract instead) or give the same option of easy honorable discharge to the  fathers too.

And make every girl sign up for Selective Service. If they have a problem with that, they can take it up with their feminist “role models.”

That would be true equality, instead of a Trojan Horse Equality feminists have been foisting upon the world for decades.
